Twitter is bringing the Democratic and Republican conventions for users to watch directly from their social media platforms. Social media has become the worlds fastest news source while still allowing a discussion on the matter at hand. Twitter’s CFO Anthony Noto shares, “By bringing the live discussion of the Republican and Democratic national conventions together with CBSN’s live video stream of the proceedings, we believe we’re giving people around the world the best way to experience democracy in action.”
